Custom websites in Australia cost between $4,500 and $80,000+ in 2026. Local-trade marketing sites typically land between $4,500 and $8,000. Premium marketing sites for service businesses or SaaS run $10,000–$25,000. Custom Shopify builds run $12,000–$40,000. Headless or enterprise builds start at $40,000. All figures AUD ex-GST.

Four phases. A 60-minute brief that ends with a fixed price and a one-page system diagram. Two live design directions in week one. A daily-Loom production build with a staging URL from day three. Cutover with redirects, analytics, and monitoring. Most marketing sites run 4 to 6 weeks; e-commerce or larger systems run 8 to 12.

What stack do you build on?

We build on React, TypeScript and Tailwind, deployed to Vercel or Cloudflare. Headless CMS where it earns its keep (Sanity, Contentful, Payload). Shopify Hydrogen for commerce. We pick the simplest stack your team can keep alive after we leave.

Do you only build websites, or also product UI?

Both. Marketing sites are the main practice, but the same craft transfers to product surfaces: onboarding flows, dashboards, settings screens, in-app empty states. If it's pixel-facing, we can build it.

Where does AI automation fit in?

Accepted Answer

AI automation is our second practice. Some clients only want a website. Some want workflow automation wired between their existing tools. Some want both, usually the site first and automation layered into the back-office afterwards. We treat them as separate engagements with a shared sensibility.

Will I own the site after launch?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Git repo, the design files, the analytics, the domain. All yours. We hand over documentation at launch. You can keep us on retainer or take it in-house. There is no proprietary lock-in and no platform you can't leave.

How do I know it'll actually perform?

We publish performance budgets (LCP, INP, CLS, JS bundle size) up front and hold them. Lighthouse 95+ on mobile is the floor, not a target. You see metrics on a staging URL before launch, and we track them post-launch against the baseline.

Yes. Plumbers, electricians, builders, and other Sydney-based trades are a regular part of the practice. Trade-specific sites need a different recipe than premium brand sites — tap-to-call discipline, suburb pages, after-hours capture, sub-1.5s mobile LCP. We treat them as a distinct vertical, not a discount template.

What's the difference between Shopify Plus and standard Shopify?

Shopify Plus is the enterprise tier of Shopify, with custom checkout via Shopify Scripts, higher API limits, more sandbox environments, and a dedicated launch manager. Standard Shopify covers brands up to roughly $1m AUD in monthly revenue; Plus is typically chosen above that, or when checkout customisation becomes a competitive advantage. Pricing for Plus starts around $2,300 USD per month.

Do you work with businesses outside Sydney?

Yes. We're based in Sydney but most clients are remote: Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, regional, and a handful internationally. The work is async-first by design. The briefing call is the only synchronous step in a typical engagement.
